 I am thankful for the simple things of life such as the air that I breathe, the warmth of the sun on my skin (when its out-lol!) the cold weather and warm clothes , food (I love good food), rainy days,knowing right from wrong, growing into a woman with integrity, and the list goes on. I am truly blessed . I have the most amazing God, children, family,friends, and job. God has blessed me so much more than I could have ever imagined. It is so beautiful how God is orchestrating it all. Each day He is doing a new work in me. Each day I see a whole new part of who He is. With each day that passes, I am all the more sure that this life that I am living  is the one that I am meant to live. Seeing where God has brought me in these last few years, I cannot wait to see what He will do in the years to come. I am calling on the promises that He has given me that He will satisfy my years. Thank you God for loving me when I was unlovable, believing in me when I could not believe in ...

  There’s a light-hearted (and thoroughly apocryphal!) story about a man out hunting in rugged countryside. As he pushes his way through deep undergrowth he stumbles and suddenly, to his horror, finds himself slipping over a bluff. His rifle flies in one direction, his pack in another, and he goes straight down. In desperation he manages to grab hold of a tree branch growing out of the side of the cliff. In spite of how you may feel at this time, this experience will not break you. Whatever happened to you does not own you or determine your future. It is an experience that you must choose to grow through and not allow it to shut your life down. Without a doubt.......this is easier said than done. But you have the ability to put this experience in your past, and not allow it to overwhelm your “now “or dictate how you are positioned in the world. Standstill  for a bit to get your head around where you are and resolve to handle the matter. You know, life is like a roller coaster. Sometimes you are up and sometimes you're down. e Deep! There is an old saying, Give a  man  a  fish  and you feed him for a day;  teach a man to fish  and you feed him for a lifetime.   Mark 5:1-7, talks about a man name Simon who knows a lot about fishing. So we find Simon in a boat in SHALLOW waters. Here in these verses we find Simon fishing and fishing and fishing and fishing AND catching nothing. Finally, Simon decides to get out of the boat and wash his nets with hopes of doing better the next time he cast his net. You see all hope wasn’t gone because of the fact that he washes his net. He plans to go back out! I would have probably sold that net........lol! Even afar off, Jesus sees Simon and the other fisherman. It was a crowded shoreline but Jesus saw them. He sees you too. He’s aware of your struggles and situations. We all at some point or another has invested ourselves into a new job, child, marriage,or some kind of endeavor. And it seems to no end that we are not getting any retur...

Stay Strong! Stay Focused! Stay Confident! Finished 2019 STONG! You’re not going to lose strength in the final stretch of the year. Don’t get distracted and find yourself on a ledge but even if you do know how to talk yourself down! Don’t allow anyone to mess up your joy! Even if the same situation are present don’t respond to the them the same. That too will soon pass! Know this that if God can create the universe in six days. He can turn your situation around in the last 35 days of this year! So, don’t throw away your confidence because confidence will yield you great rewards! God is able to do just what He said and He will fulfill every promise. So don’t allow those things that use to steal your joy take you prisoner. Remember how you use to respond ......well don’t do that thing ....do something different ....be kind.....be understanding.....but be real because God is looking at the condition of your heart to bless you with what He can now trust you with! #winningnow#winning2020...

Disclaimer: This isn’t my work! A Good Read!!!! One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. Webster dictionary defines distraction as being a thing that prevents someone from giving full attention to something else. I’ll be the first to admit that even as I mature or as I like to put it “ aging gracefully “it is becoming harder by the minute to stay focus . Everything at this point is fleeting. With only 62 days left in the year, allow me to remind you to stay FOCUS. Every idea, dream,project,opportunity, etc still can happened . Don’t get weary in well doing. Stay the course and keep your eyes on the prize. Goodnight dear hearts...

Transformation comes from the process of transition. It is not who you are, it is who you will become. Who you BECOME is a result of what you GO THROUGH. What you go through is a result of what you're committed to. When you're committed to great things, you will be TESTED with many things. The test may be a tease or temptation, but it is always designed to support your transition. Don't worry - commitment is what separates the butterfly from the caterpillar. The butterfly exists because it completes the transition. Finish what you started. Make the switch. Be who you are destined to be. Things are about to change. #betterLIFE

Cinderella isn’t a story about an insecure girl who needed a prince to show her her worth. It was about a woman who was able to remain confident and secure in spite of the hand life dealt her. She possess qualities of grace, patience, and kindness. Even when others were unkind to her...now that’s GRACE! She was beautiful but the real beauty was displayed when she served others that despitefully used her.During her time of adversity, she wasn’t searching for a way out because she found a way to create harmony, peace, and love even when trouble haunted her. A Note on Stretching: Question....................................? Can it be possible for an answered prayer to be both a blessing and a curse? Or that it may be beneficial on one hand and a consequential burden on the other. I’ve prayed for somethings concerning my career. Needless to say, God has shown up like He do. I was looking for it to be one way........However, it was delivered in the most complexed way possible! After many years of walking with God, I should know by now that God don’t do simple. Well, my answered prayer is unfolding right before my eyes and I’m experiencing the process everyday! It is causing me to be stretched in ways that I couldn’t imagine. So much so that I began to question my craft as an educator. I had been doing some serious career evaluation and was ready to walk away from what I love. At some point, we all go through a period of transition or stretching, but few of us are lucky enough to go through the process spiritually aware and witnessing remn...

As I sit and reflect on my first week back to school, I reminded myself WHY I do what I do! Why do I get out of bed Monday thru Friday? Why did I become an educator? I became an educator for reasons of the heart, to help others learn, and to make a positive impact in the lives of people. This year is a little different though because I’m being called to a different level of connectedness with my class this year. A bond that is going to govern how well they will thrive academically in my classroom. I am being charge to make a connection with my students not in my methods but in my heart. I was challenged to remember that my heart is what led me to teach. So, I am to join self, subject, and students into the same fabric that will create a capacity of connectedness within the classroom. I am charged to “Win their hearts”!  Do you know your WHY?

I learned through the years that life isn’t always easy. But if you’re always looking at the bad, you will miss the good. I have come to realize though, that just like when finding the silver lining, there is a beauty in the storms.  You have to embrace them. They are a blessing in disguise. How would you know the morning if you never knew the midnight?

Do you realize that Jesus was a human frame walking as a complete bible......there are no scriptures missing in Him.....He is the full word walking.....on the Earth.....so therefore anything that you call out He don't have to go get because He is already it......He can walk this Earth and answer everybody prayer at the same time......He can supply everybody need at the same time .....He is the complete manifestation of His word .....,which means that He is not a man that He should lie.....He is the manifested truth.......

Human experiences are truly painful, but as God’s past deeds of deliverance provided assurance, so now Christ’s victory provides even greater confidence.
